Artac featured in the DHL Logistics Trend Radar 8.0.

September 27, 2026

Envio is pleased to share that Artac has been featured in the DHL Logistics Trend Radar 8.0, DHL’s biennial report on the trends expected to shape logistics and supply chains over the next decade.

Published in September 2026 by DHL, the eighth edition of the Trend Radar is compiled with business, technology and academic contributors from across the industry and is used by DHL and its customers to decide which developments deserve attention now. Being named in it is a welcome recognition of the work our customers and partners have put into connected, reusable packaging.

Artac is featured under Next-Generation Packaging, a technology trend DHL rates as having considerable impact, with adoption expected within five years. DHL links the trend to three of its focus areas: customer experience, sustainability and visibility and resilience.

Within the trend’s intelligent asset-monitoring use case, DHL notes that Envio’s digital shipping label and asset tracker allows shippers to “remotely track and re-label shipments using an e-ink digital shipping label”, and that it notifies them when a shipment is opened, dropped or exceeds a temperature threshold.

The use cases DHL describes are already running with Envio customers:

  • High-value rental equipment shipped across North America in cases that are relabelled remotely for every outbound and return trip.
  • Medical loaner kits re-routed between hospitals and field representatives instead of returning to a central warehouse.
  • Cold-chain shipments showing live internal temperature on the outside of the package, through Artac’s integration with Zebra’s ZS300 sensors.
